Big Ideas, Real Impact.

The Pecan & Pine Mutual Aid Network is an emerging effort started by three land stewards based in the Piedmont and Eastern regions of North Carolina. This work is rooted in reviving Black traditions of mutualism and collective survival; practices that have long sustained our communities. The network centers mutual aid as a tool for strengthening Black-owned farms through shared resources, bartering, collective labor, coordinated crop planning, and other cooperative strategies.
